agrell stool

Named after Apollo geologist Stuart Olof Agrell. The Agrell stool is prefabricated from 5 separate moulds bolted together with cast in stainless steel fixings, these can be specified as exposed or concealed. The highlight of this model is the exact 5mm spacing between components.

Cast using a high performance concrete mix of granite sand and 6mm granite aggregate, the surfaces are ground and polished, exposing the stone. It is available with either a cork or concrete seat.

At 20kg it is a sculptural object that can be used either inside or out.

The Agrell Stoll was awarded the “design innovation” award at the 2020 Scottish Furniture Makers Association exhibition “Adjust/Adapt”.
